Dr John Ireland was awarded his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgery in 1990, and Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 1994. He completed a Fellowship in Join Replacement surgery at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, UK. Dr Ireland was also awarded AO and Zimmer travelling Fellowships in Joint Replacement surgery and Trauma. John was formally Head of the Orthopaedic Dept. at Liverpool and Chariman of the Whitlam Joint Replacement Centre, based at Fairfield Hospital. Dr Ireland is a VMO at Campbelltown Private Hospital.
