Profile: Shevy has been practising as a colorectal surgeon in the St George and Sutherlandshire since 2001. He did all his junior medical training at St George Hospital after graduating from Auckland Medical School in 1985.He finished his General Surgical Fellowship in 1999 and then continued with a 2 year colorectal fellowship under the auspices of the CSSANZ specialsing in laparoscopic surgery. He continues to advance minimally invasive surgery in colorectal diseases performing SILS, TAMIS and being accredited in robotic surgery.Over the many years at St George he has held numerous positions in the hospital including Director of Basic Surgical Training, Treasurer of the Staff Medical Council, and currently hold the position as Director of Colorectal fellow training.He has positions at both St George Public and Private Hospitals, and Kingsway Day Surgery Miranda.
