He worked in various hospitals in NSW before moving to Bunbury, WA in 2007. In 2010 he relocated to Perth and has worked in various public mental health services as a Consultant Psychiatrist. Dr Khanna also worked in Old Age Mental Health Services in Rockingham for two and a half years and started work with North Metropolitan Mental Health Services (MHS) in 2012. Dr Khanna commenced private practice in 2014 alongside the public MHS and in 2017 decided to serve completely in the private health system. His approach to treatment is patient-centred and recovery focused. He is dedicated to reducing mental health stigma and providing quality treatment in order to help patients maintain the quality of life they deserve. Dr Khanna is also a visiting Consultant Psychiatrist to St John of God Murdoch Hospital. He can speak English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi and offers consultations in these languages.
