About Dr Renee Wong

Profile: Born in Melbourne and a graduate of the University of Melbourne, Renee completed her specialist training at Monash Medical Centre, Mercy Hospital for Women and The Royal Women’s Hospital. During this time, Renee gained valuable skills in fetal ultrasound surveillance and extensive experience in the management of high-risk pregnancies complicated by preterm labour, fetal illness, and maternal medical disorders. She also managed Sinai’s very busy high-risk obstetric labour ward while pursuing research interests in the management of twin pregnancy, placental insufficiency and medication safety in pregnancy. These experiences have informed her clinical interest in the management of multiple pregnancy and maternal medical disorders.Aside from being a private obstetrician and gynaecologist at Frances Perry House, Renee is also a consultant obstetrician at The Royal Women’s Hospital and enjoys teaching and mentoring junior staff and medical students.Outside of work, Renee enjoys running and cross training and advocates a considered approach to exercise and nutrition in pregnancy. She also loves food and travel – but most of all spending time with her two sets of twin children!
