Mr Matt Hofmann graduated from medical school in Germany in 2002. During medical training, he completed an exchange year at Sydney University.
After graduation, he worked in the United Kingdom as a junior doctor and later relocated to Perth, where he undertook further surgical training and was selected for the Australian orthopaedic training programme.
Following qualification as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, he undertook subspecialty fellowship training in Perth, Sydney and Canberra in orthopaedic trauma surgery, lower limb arthroplasty and revision arthroplasty.
