Profile: Dr Man-Shun Wong is a specialist General, Endocrine and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon. He studied medicine at the University of Queensland and completed his general surgical training in the Gold Coast.Dr Wong went on to complete a 2 year fellowship in Upper Gastrointestinal surgery at the Gold Coast University Hospital, training in oesophageal, gastric and bariatric surgery; and a concurrent Honorary Bariatric Fellowship at the Holy Spirit Hospital. He went on to further sub-specialty training at the Royal North Shore Hospital, being one of a handful of Australians to complete the prestigious International TS Reeve Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery.He has an active interest in teaching, holding a position as a Senior CCrISP instructor with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
