Profile: Dr Roberts completed her MBBS at James Cook University, Townsville. She then gained her experience in advanced training in medical oncology throughout multiple south-east QLD hospitals. Dr Roberts then completed her fellowship year at the Mater Hospital, Brisbane as a clinical research fellow, mainly being involved in breast and ovarian cancer trials.Dr Roberts is a sub-investigator on multiple trials at the Princess Alexandra and Greenslopes Private hospitals. She is also very interested in research into cancer survivorship symptoms and has recently submitted a Cochrane Review on the effect of exercise on the musculoskeletal symptoms from aromatase inhibitors in breast cancer.Dr Roberts is passionate about providing a patient-centred approach for each patient, by acknowledging each patient’s own beliefs and values towards their wellbeing. She believes that excellent communication with the patient and their family is important during each step of the patient’s journey.
