Profile: Prof. Jonathan Chan is a clinical cardiologist with Special interests: in cardiac imaging (Echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI)Prof. Chan is a First Class Honours graduate of the University of Queensland and has been awarded a PhD in medicine in echocardiography. Following his specialist training, he undertook an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre at Harvard Medical School in the United States.Prof. Chan is the Director of Echocardiography and senior partner of the Gold Coast Heart Centre. He is recognised for his commitment to education of echocardiography at national and international levels. He currently serves as the International Regional Committee member of the Australian and New Zealand chapter of SCCT Society of Computed Tomography.He has been practising on the Gold Coast since 2009.
