Dr Trueman assists his patients to achieve the best possible Gynaecological outcome for Endometriosis, urinary incontinence, prolapse, abnormal Pap smears, and abnormal bleeding.Geoff graduated from Manchester University, UK in 1987 with MB ChB, and completed his intern year in the UK before relocating to Australia. He completed his residency at Gold Coast Hospital between 1988 and 1991. Geoff joined the Queensland O&G training scheme and began working at the Mater and QE II Hospitals in Brisbane. He continued his training in London, including infertility service training. Geoff’s final years of training were completed in a satellite IVF unit in Jersey in order to advance his ultrasound training.Dr Trueman was awarded Australian College Fellowship in 1999 and returned to Australia to establish a busy practice in Lismore, NSW. He was the Director of O&G for four years and the Chairman of Surgical Services at St Vincent’s Hospital.Dr Trueman has established a busy Obstetric & Gynaecological practice in the John Flynn Medical Centre with the help of his dedicated staff. Geoff has fulfilled the role of Chairman of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at John Flynn Private Hospital for two years. He is also an active member of the Medical Advisory Committee at John Flynn Private Hospital.Dr Trueman is honoured to be an Associate Medical Professor at Bond University and actively involved with teaching Griffith University medical students. Geoff is dedicated to teaching medical students to further their practical skills and theoretical knowledge in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and provide a holistic educational experience.Outside of work, Geoff enjoys spending time with his wife and four children walking their two dogs (a Border Collie and a Smithfield Terrier) along the beautiful Gold Coast beaches, bushwalking, watching Manchester City football matches, boating and fishing. As a Currumbin local, Geoff enjoys eating out at all the new restaurants popping up in the area with his friends and family.
