Profile: Dr Anne Capp completed training in Radiation Oncology at St Vincent’s and St George Hospitals in Sydney, after graduating from The University of Tasmania in 1987.She then spent two years as a clinical research fellow at the Royal Marsden Hospital UK, returning to Australia in 1997 to take up a Staff Specialist position at the Illawarra Cancer Care Centre, Wollongong.In 2006 she moved to the Hunter region to take up a Senior Staff Specialist position at Calvary Mater Newcastle and from 2010 – 2012 was the Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology.Dr Capp’s interests include treatment of urological malignancies, lymphoma, gastro-intestinal tumours, gynaecological malignancies and breast cancer. She is actively involved in clinical trial development and recruitment.
