He is an active member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society, national and Western Australian branches, and the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA).

He is the current AOA hand module coordinator for the orthopaedic trainees 'Bone School' and is currently an active member of the organising committee for the West Australian Hand Surgery Society Annual Meeting.

Mr Keogh presents regularly on topics related to upper limb surgery at local and international meetings. He is a passionate researcher with interests in elbow instability and forearm perforator flaps.
