Dr Angelique Megevand is a Consultant Physician in Respiratory and Sleep Disorders and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). She completed both Basic Physician Training followed by three years of Intensive Care Medicine training at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital, before completing Advanced Physician Training in Respiratory Medicine._x000D_ Dr Megevand has hospital accreditation at the Sydney Adventist Hospital and is a sessional VMO/Staff Specialist at Gosford Hospital. She is a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, the Lung Foundation of Australia, and is an affiliated member of the European Respiratory Society. Dr Megevand has published and presented research internationally in several medical areas including airway protection in the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) and the role of eosinophils in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She has a special interest in medical student teaching and the training of junior doctors.
