Dr Erdstein obtained his undergraduate degree in 1986 and 1991 from the University of Sydney followed by Basic Physician Training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He obtained his Fellowship in both Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Concord Hospital and Westmead Hospital in 2002 and was awarded his FRACP in both specilaties.
