Profile: After graduating in 1984 Mr Papini worked at the Royal Free Hospital in London, and obtained his Surgical Fellowship in 1990. Having completed rigorous plastic surgery training in the UK and obtaining his plastic surgical fellowship in 1998, he moved to Perth, where he became the first plastic surgery fellow to work alongside the highly experienced and respected Professor Fiona Wood.In 1999, Mr Papini returned to the UK where he was a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at University Hospital Birmingham, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Heart of England NHS Trust for 14 years, for six of which he was Burn Unit Director.He returned to Perth with his family in 2012 and is now an active member of the State Sarcoma Service.

• 04.05.2021In April this year my husband had surgery as a public patient by Dr Papini which neither solved nor alleviated his problem. To say we were disappointed with the outcome and Dr Papini’s impolite manner is an understatement.
