He was then awarded a Rhodes Scholarship at the University of Oxford, England, where he obtained a DPhil in Medical Science.Ye continued his training in ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, and completed his subspecialty training in Adelaide, gaining considerable experience in the treatment of eyelid disorders, including ’droopy’ eyelids, eyelid malpositions, brow ptosis, eyelid tumours; orbital disorders, including thyroid eye disease, orbital tumour, socket disorders; and lacrimal disorders, including ‘watery eyes’ and blocked tear ducts.Ye is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
