About Dr Vivien Wong

Profile: Dr Vivien Wong is a urogynaecologist who subspecialised in the management of women with pelvic floor dysfunction. During the course of her subspecialty training, Dr Wong also acquired expertise in the use of pelvic floor ultrasound as an assessment tool for women with urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, complex post-surgical repair symptoms and bowel dysfunction.She has lectured at international and national workshops on pelvic floor ultrasound. She has also published widely in this area of urogynaecology and is currently completing her PhD in prolapse management. She is a reviewer of multiple international urogynaecological journals and is a conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. She is actively involved in medical student education and supervises the training of O&G registrars and urogynaecology sub-specialty trainees.In addition to private practice, Dr Wong consults as a visiting medical officer at Robina Hospital, Gold Coast and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital, Brisbane and is also conversant in Mandarin and Cantonese.
