I visited Dr Van Mai during Easter holiday, because he was the one of the very few available Dr in my area and on the Public holiday.
I suffered fatigue after the breast cancer treatment and leg pain , needed to confirm two bookings with my physiotherapist , was not able to travel to overseas the very next morning for work .I told him I needed few days sick leave , so I could give my company an early notice to have replacement of my work for next few days.
But he told me he doesn’t know me, so he couldn’t believe what I said . And I need provide evidence for my booking with physiotherapist and medical conditions.
I had a record of my medical history in my bag , but he had no interest to look at them .
There was no support or help from him as a Dr after I waited nearly hour and half. He deeply hurt me as a vulnerable patient, I felt I was humiliated by him – a doctor who has no basic professional ethic and skills .
