Late last year, my wife and I saw Platée, a baroque opera, that we’d booked a year before. That she was able to go home just three days after her thymectomy, and be able to not just sit through, but thoroughly enjoy an opera two days later, makes me so thankful.

Even as a lay person, I was able to observe how small and careful the incisions for the operation were, how skillfully Dr Yan’s team functioned, and how innovative was the procedure, including the prudent pre- and post-operative work.

Thank you all, for this boon to our lives and for the privilege of witnessing the team effort in making this significant contribution to society.
