Anaesthetist provide high quality anaesthesia services in a range of surgical areas. Their main job is also to be responsible at the same time for the safety and well-being of the patient in the operating theatre. This involves supporting a patient's vital signs, ensuring the patient is hydrated, warm and comfortable at the conclusion of the procedure. In addition, anaesthetist have a range of practice which extends beyond anaesthesia for surgery to include pain management and intensive care. Anaesthetist adjust the doses of the anaesthesia inducing drugs indivually on a patient by patient basis. General practitioner treats patients of all ages from newborn babies to elderly people. GP have an important role to play in the management of acute care, chronic diseases and the treatment of patients with multiple health conditions. General practitioner (GP) treat all common medical conditions and refer patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment. Another important part of the work of a GP is preventative medicine and health promotion, include child immunisation and lifestyle modification.
