About Dr Terry Chang

Dr Chang is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist specialising in High Risk Obstetrics, One Stop Gynaecology, and Advanced Laparoscopic & Hysteroscopy surgeries. The aim of the One Stop Approach is to streamline service to patients by enabling them to have a speicalist consultation and a specialist ultrasound examination in one visit, which result in better patient satisfaction. Dr Chang graduated from the University of New South Wales and undertook specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick. During these years of training he realised that competency in ultrasound examination would become an essential skill in day-to-day obstetric and gynaecological practice. Dr Chang therefore commenced his subspecialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Ultrasound in Sydney and qualified for Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU). He then furthered this experience by moving to London, UK and worked at both Fetal Medicine Unit and One Stop Early Pregnancy, Gynaecology & Minimal Access Surgery Unit at St George's Hospital, London. Dr Chang has appointments at both Sydney Adventist Hospital and Hornsby Kuring-gai Hospital. He is also a Consultant in Ultrasound at Westmead Hospital. He can consult in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Dr Chang has participated in a number of research projects, particularly in the use of ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He was a principal investigator in International Ovarian Tumour Analysis (IOTA) Phase II Trial in London, and has travelled to Leuvan, Belgium in the preparation of the study.
