About Dr Tae Hyun Cho

Dr Cho completed his medical training at University of New South Wales before training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and receiving his Fellowship in Vascular from Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. During his training he travelled abroad and worked in Singapore General Hospital and Oxford University United Kingdom before coming back to Westmead Hospital where he is now a VMO. Dr Cho also holds appointments at Westmead Private Hospital, Blacktown Hospital and Auburn Hospital._x000D_ Dr Cho's main interests include minimally invasive aortic surgery and is currently a Proctor for Medtronic for their aortic stent grafts in Australia and Asia. He is invovled with a large multidisciplinary ulcer / high risk foot clinic in Westmead where over 800 patients are seen every eyar. Every effort is applied to return patients to better quality of life but more importantly maintain limb salvage. Dr Cho is also involved with up to date surveillance and endovascular maintenance of dialysis access, sucessfully preventing unnecessary placement of dialysis catheters. Dr Cho's main research interest include complex endovascular aortic surgery but also endoluminal treatment of occlusive aorto iliac disease.
