Profile: I was a late entry into medicine, having done a science degree and an MBA, with marketing experience. I graduated in 1995 from Monash University with honours.My intern year was at Royal Melbourne hospital, then Obstetric and Gynaecology training at Monash Medical Centre.My country rotation was to Mildura. I also spent time at Box Hill Hospital, prior to doing my final two years at The Women’s Hospital, as the first principal registrar.In 2003, I started a private practice at Williamstown. I also started delivering babies at Frances Perry House and being a consultant at The Women’s in the diabetes/endocrine clinic. I am also rostered in The Women’s Labour Ward, working to encourage the training of our future consultants.
