About Dr Stuart Prosser
Stuart Prosser is the Founder and Medical Director at One for Women; a new concept delivering premier antenatal and postnatal care to women in Australia.
Prior to embarking on this new venture, Stuart has worked as a Procedural General Practitioner, practising both Anaesthetics and Obstetrics, for over 15 years. During his initial General Practice training he completed his Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and his JCCA in Anaesthetics. Throughout this period, Stuart has continually focused on enhancing the patient experience.
Stuart has completed a Master in Medicine, with a focus on perioperative medicine and health care systems and leadership. He has also recently completed a Master of Business Administration through the University of Melbourne.
Stuart has a long-standing commitment to ongoing education, he is currently the chair of the JCCA, which oversees the training of all non-specialist anaesthetists.
He also maintains his position as RACGP representative on the Diploma of Anaesthetic working group and has recently been appointed as an Associate Professor at Curtin University; continuing his long-standing commitment to medical student education and mentoring the future generation of medical practitioners. Stuart has experience in a number of key executive appointments including the Director of Medical Services at St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital and the Director of Clinical Services at Bentley Hospital.

• 22.07.2022This doctor is dishonest. He claims to have special expertise in obstetrics and told me he was a good as a specialist bu the is a GP not a specialist. He took my money that I had to pay up front and promised to deliver my baby when his business, One For Women, was in receivership. It is now bankrupt and we lost our money. He offered to deliver my baby for no extra cost. He said he can do Caesarean sections but the hospital will not let him do a Caesarean section if I need one, he must refer me? He said he can do an epidural for me if I need a Caesarean section because he is an anaesthetist as well but how does that work? He is an obstetrician that is not allowed to do a Caesarean section but he can do a epidural? I asked why not and I did not understand his explanation as he mainly complained about how unfair the hospital is. So I called them and asked a midwife why Dr Prosser could not do my caesarean section nd she said it is because he is a GP not a specialist. How can SJOGMtLawley allow this doctor to even work there?
