Profile: Dr Simone Kaye is an Australian trained Gastroenterology and Hepatology Specialist with extensive experience in the field. Simone’s undergraduate training was in South Australia and Gastroenterology and Hepatology training was in South Australia, Western Australia and as an advanced Fellow in Hepatology in the United Kingdom.Simone worked as a consultant in the North of England for the NHS for over 8 years prior to her return to Australia in early 2014. She worked in private practice in Brisbane and publicly at the Sunshine Coast Hospitals and at QE2 in Brisbane.Dr Kaye has an interest in all aspects of General Gastroenterology and Hepatology. As a specialist Dr Kaye has fostered an interest in inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel conditions. She continues to see all aspects of General Hepatology disease.From the 17th July 2018 Dr Kaye will be holding all outpatient clinics, offering patients her expert care from a new location in the heart of Tewantin. Dr Kaye’s procedures will continue to be carried out at Noosa Hospital.Dr Kaye will be consulting three days per week.
