• 15.04.2023DREADFUL TREATMENT.
I cannot and will not comment on his skill as a cardiologist as I am not qualified but I will tell my story. in August 2016 I had a non stemi (no damage) heart attack and he was convinced I needed a bypass, We sought a 2nd opinion in the cardiothoracic surgeon and they said no definitely didn’t need a bypass. Then I really wanted to get healthy and have weigh loss surgery as I was heavy and he said no. My surgeon couldn’t believe how uncooperative he was, after 3 appts and my husband coming too, he said I could have the surgery. I lost 59kg. So next was skin removal, he dismissed it like it was nothing, saying “no, you don’t need that” I said of course I do and he said “well you cant go off the medications, any of them.” Again my plastic surgeon said in all his years he has never met a specialist who was as unrealistic, uncooperative or obtuse. GOD COMPLEX, was used. I would also ring and the receptionist would speak about the wrong medications he had taken me off over 6 months prior and wrong mg’s it was a mess.!
I severed all ties with this Cardiologist Dr Razak and found a new cardiologist, he ran all the tests and said I was very healthy and I could proceed with the surgery for skin removal and I just need to stay on my statin. – Dr Razak was more than rude he was dismissive like I had no say in my own healthcare. I was only ever looking for a safe pathway to get what I needed done. Now I have perfect cholesterol, perfect weight, no high blood pressure. and mostly due to the weigh loss! That he didn’t want me to have. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
