Profile: Dr Kariappa is a specialist colorectal surgeon with a particular interest in laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery, complex peri-anal pathology and the surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease. Dr Kariappa has admitting rights at Sutherland Hospital, Kareena Private Hospital and St George Private Hospital. He is a conjoint lecturer for the School of Medicine at the University of New South Wales. Dr Kariappa is pleased to be back serving the community where he grew up.
Special interests: Benign proctology with an interest in fistula surgery with muscle preserving techniques.
