Profile: After graduating with his medical degree from the University of NSW in 2000, Dr Yang returned to Brisbane and worked as an intern at the Mater Hospital. He spent two years as a general surgical training registrar at Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Ipswich Hospitals. His training in plastic surgery was at the PA Hospital, the Royal Brisbane, Mater and Greenslopes Private Hospital. Dr Yang also spent a year working as the overseas fellow at the Oxford University Hospitals, UK where he gained more experience in microsurgery, sarcoma, melanoma, breast and upper limb surgery.Dr Yang continues his commitment to the public health system as a visiting specialist plastic surgeon at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
