Dr Sameen Haque completed her basic physician training at Westmead Hospital in Sydney in 2014, followed by general neurology training at Nepean Hospital in Sydney in 2015 and The Canberra Hospital in 2016, gaining experience in acute and general neurology._x000D_ Dr Haque undertook a neuromuscular fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2017 with focus on clinical neurophysiology, neuromuscular and neurogenetic disorders. She also gained experience in the management of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) through MS and Neuroimmunology clinics at Royal North Shore Hospital. She is currently pursuing a higher research degree focusing on adult patients with Mitochondrial disease. She has previously completed a master's degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Sydney in 2012._x000D_ Dr Haque currently works at Northern Neuroscience at Sydney Adventist Hospital, and as a staff specialist in Neurology at Nepean Hospital where she also runs the neurophysiology clinic. She is also actively engaged in medical education at Nepean Hospital. Her special interests include neuromuscular disorders, multiple sclerosis, clinical electrophysiology and use of botulinum toxin. Dr Sameen Haque is currently undertaking a higher research degree in the field of Neurogenetics with focus on Mitochondrial disease through the University of Sydney.
