Sam graduated from Adelaide University Medical School and has extensive post graduate general medical, oncological and palliative care experience. Sam completed his Physician Training at the Austin Repatriation Hospital in Melbourne.

He undertook Medical Oncology Advanced training at Bendigo Health Care, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Austin Repatriation Hospital, completing in 2013. Sam’s final year was a Clinical trials fellowship in Breast Cancer, Gastro-intestinal tumours  and Genitourinary Cancers.
 
Between 2014-16 Sam undertook a fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, UK working initially in the Sarcoma Unit and subsequently with Professor Johann De Bono in the Drug Development Unit (Phase I trials) and the Prostate team. During this time Sam worked on the early phase trials with multiple drugs entering or soon to be entering clinical practice across many areas of oncology including lung, breast, prostate, ovarian cancer and melanoma, as well as with immunotherapy.
 
Sam’s specialty areas are in Breast Cancer, Melanoma and Lung Cancer and Sarcomas (including GIST) however I will be treating all types of malignancies.
