Profile: Dr Richard Ward-Harvey completed his MBBS at the University of NSW (2000) and his Master of Surgery (Vasc.) at the University of Sydney (2010) under the supervision of Prof J Harris.In addition to his general surgical training years in New South Wales hospitals, including St Vincent’s and Royal Prince Alfred, Dr Richard Ward-Harvey’s vascular surgery training was undertaken at the Royal Prince Alfred, Concord, Princess Alexandra and Gold Coast Hospitals. His Fellowship was conferred in February 2011.Dr Richard Ward-Harvey’s recent training in these leading Australian hospitals has given him extensive experience in the latest developments in Vascular Surgery. He is excited to be able to offer both traditional open surgery as well as cutting-edge endovascular techniques, in order to give patients the safest and most effective outcomes.Dr Richard Ward-Harvey currently holds a VMO position at the Gold Coast Hospital and will continue in that role while also accepting private patients through his practice at Pindara Private Hospital, where he has a regular theatre and endovascular list.
