About Dr Penelope Elix

BMedSc(Hons), MBBS, DRANZCOG, DCH, FRACGP

Dr Penelope graduated from the University of Sydney in 2006 and has been a fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs since 2011. She has a Diploma in Child Health and Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and has recently completed additional training in managing viral hepatitis, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Dr Penelope loves being a GP and has an interest in women’s health at all stages of life, child and adolescent health, sexual health (including viral hepatitis) and mental health. She will soon complete a Master of Health Policy and looks forward to having a life after that! She is working on a project on doctors’ health and is very happy to work with doctor patients.
