About Dr Paul Ghaie

Dr. Paul Ghaie is an Acupuncture Physician. After completing a medical degree from Punjab University in 1968, he trained in Indian and Australian teaching hospitals.
In 1970, Dr Ghaie migrated to Australia and began his medical acupuncture training. He completed his Fellowship of The AMAC in 1986 and Masters of Applied Science of Medical Acupuncture from R.M.I.T., Melbourne, in 1998.
From 1985, Dr Ghaie worked as an Acupuncture Physician in Ballarat. He has special interest in management of pain, allergies and fertility related problems.
Dr Ghaie has been an educator for P.A.N.C.H. Acupuncture course, A.M.A.C., and Monash University courses for over 20 years.
He has mentored hundreds of medicals graduates in acupuncture. Dr Ghaie did pilot studies in the use of acupuncture in Xerostomia and Post Knee Replacement Pain and he presented his initial study at the I.C.M.A.R.T. Conference in Edinburgh, 2001.
He has been a member of the Executives of Victorian and Federal Boards of the A.M.A.C. for over 20 years. Dr Ghaie was also an examiner and head of the Examination Panel of A. M.A.C. and he has Visiting Rights to Ballarat Health Services and SJG Hospitals in Ballarat and Geelong, consulting from The SJGG Specialist Centre.
