Dr Roxanas graduated from University of NSW in 1968, and after residency at Parramatta Hospital, Prince Henry Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, he started Psychiatric training. He worked at Gladesville and St. George Hospitals, and after obtaining FRANZCP in 1974, did a further year in Consultation-Liaison and Psychogeriatrics at Sunnybrook Hospital, University of Toronto, Toronto Canada.
