About Dr Masami Miyashita

Dr Miyashita graduated with Honours from the University of NSW in 1985. He completed Physicians training at Royal North Shore Hospital, and was awarded Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 1994. He then completed four years of Cardiology training at The Canberra Hospital (formerly Woden Valley Hospital), Royal North Shore Hospital, and as Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the St. George Hospital, Sydney._x000D_ He is currently in private practice with partners Dr Thomas Gavaghan, Dr Peter Illes, Susan Wright and Cathie Coleman with offices in the San Clinic adjacent to Sydney Adventist Hospital, Mona Vale and Dee Why. He has been a Visiting Medical Officer at Sydney Adventist Hospital since 1996, and is on both the general Cardiology on-call roster as well as the Acute Interventional Cardiology roster for rapid treatment of heart attack patients._x000D_ Dr Miyashita's particular interests include interventional cardiology and echocardiography, including transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. Dr Miyashita is available for consultations as well as for comprehensive non-invasive cardiac investigation, including exercise stress testing, echocardiography and Holter Monitors, through his Dee Why, Mona Vale and San Clinic rooms.
