He furthered his urological training with a Doctorate of Medicine investigating prostate cancer immunology and presenting multiple clinical papers at state and international levels.Awarded the prestigious Ronald John Gleghorn Scholarship from the University of Melbourne 2006 he was then awarded the inaugural Rodney Syme Scholarship form the Department of Urology Austin Health in 2007.He completed his advanced urological surgery training in Sydney, NSW having passed his fellowship exams with distinction.Interests & ExpertiseAfter attaining his FRACS (Sydney), Dr Elmes spend a further year refining sub-speciality techniques. He was invited to complete a complex stone surgical fellowship under the tutelage of Australia's leading stone endourologist, Dr Raymond Ko. In addition, Dr Elmes spent time with world experts in open and minimally invasive cancer surgery.
