Graduated from Sydney University in 1996 with Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons),then in 2000 with MBBS (Hons). Dr Magiros worked in Orange and then overseas for 5 years including cruise ships. Dr Magiros gained her fellowship in Family Medicine in 2011. She also has a DCH (Diploma in Chlidren’s Health) and a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Dr Magiros currently works as a Medical Educator at GP Synergy, St George After Hours and Family Planning Association at Ashfield.
General practitioner treats patients of all ages from newborn babies to elderly people. GP have an important role to play in the management of acute care, chronic diseases and the treatment of patients with multiple health conditions. General practitioner (GP) treat all common medical conditions and refer patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment. Another important part of the work of a GP is preventative medicine and health promotion, include child immunisation and lifestyle modification.
