About Dr Luca D’Orsogna

Dr Luca D’Orsogna is a rehabilitation physician with interests in orthopaedic rehabilitation post-fracture or joint replacement, musculoskeletal rehabilitation including amputees and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Dr D’Orsogna also has interests in neurological rehabilitation, for those with acute or chronic neurological disorders. This includes a particular interest in disorders of the spine and spinal cord – and managing all of the complications of neurological disorders on physical, functional and social aspects of life.
He graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2003 and completed his Rehabilitation Medicine training between Sydney, NSW and Perth, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012.
Dr D’Orsogna was the convenor of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Spinal Cord Medicine conference in 2015, and was a committee member of the AFRM Policy and Advocacy Committee from 2013 – 2017.
