Profile: Dr Keong Lim is an experienced and fully qualified gastroenterologist who is efficient, thorough and passionate about delivering the best levels of care to patients. He is a trusted, patient-focused and experienced gastroenterologist with a long history of serving patients by successfully diagnosing, treating and also managing their illnesses.Dr Lim completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales, graduating with Honours. He commenced his basic physician training in New Zealand and completed gastroenterology advanced training in 1993 at St George Hospital, Kogarah, NSW. Dr Lim is fully accredited by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and capsule endoscopy.He previously worked at Logan Hospital from 1994-2001 as a VMO Gastroenterologist. Dr Lim believes in nurturing the next generation and has been involved in teaching medical students since 1994 and is a Senior Lecturer of the University of Queensland.
