Profile: Dr Karen Sheng is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is dedicated to providing the best health care to women of all ages. She completed her medical degree at the University of Otago, New Zealand, and a Masters degree in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales. After graduation, Dr Sheng trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Royal North Shore Hospital and became a Fellow with The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. As part of her training, she undertook a year of Gynaecology Fellowship in Taiwan, focusing on minimally invasive surgery.Dr Sheng believes that communication and collaboration are the key to success when it comes to managing women’s health. With her migrant experience and multicultural background, Dr Sheng understands the importance of culture and family in women’s health. With more than 10 years experience in medicine, Dr Sheng offers comprehensive and personalised obstetric care to both high and low risk pregnancies, as well as all aspects of benign gynaecological problems.
