About Dr Kai Goh

Dr Kai Goh is a highly accomplished eye surgeon, with more than 16 years experience in performing ophthalmic surgery. To date, he has treated over 20,000 successful cases of cataracts and glaucoma.
As a local graduate who obtained an MBBS with Honours in 1993 from the University of Western Australia, he undertook his fellowship training in ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne.
He then undertook clinical fellowships in some of the most renowned ophthalmology institutes in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. This includes the Devers and Casey Eye Institutes in Portland, USA where he sub-specialised in cataract surgery and glaucoma. His research at the Devers and Casey Eye Institutes were published in several peer review journals such as the Journal of Glaucoma.
Returning back to Perth in 2002, Dr Kai Goh has performed a large number of cataract and glaucoma and general ophthalmology procedures, including intravitreal injections for wet macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease.
His other expertise include blepharoplasty (for droopy eyelids), pterygium (sun damaged eyes) and other eyelid operations.
