Profile: Julie obtained her medical degree from New South Wales University in 1994 and completed General Practice Training in 1999. Since then she has spent 20 years working as a General Practitioner. For the last 10 years, she has worked primarily in Aged Care Facilities caring for those with chronic disease.In 2018 Julie completed the Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine at Calvary Mater Hospital and now works in several Aged Care Facilities as well as Palliative Care settings. She has a passion for improving the lives of older Australians and for caring for those needing symptom management and support as they navigate chronic and incurable disease.
