Dr Jane McNeilage is an experienced gynaecologist who has been operating at St John of God Berwick Hospital for the past three yeras.
Dr McNeilage cares for patients who have:
-any gynaecological malignancy
-complicated gynaecological surgery.
She also currently holds the position of Visiting Medical Officer Gynaecology Oncology at Monash Medical Centre and VMO at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, Familial Cancer Clinic.

A Medical Oncologist is a consultant physician specialising in the investigation, study, diagnosis, management and treatment of benign and malignant growths, tumours, cancers and diseases. Sub-specialties of oncology includes surgical oncology (removes the tumour or cancerous tissue during an operation), radiation oncology (radiation therapy), medical oncology (chemotherapy and ) hormone therapy, gynaecological oncologist (treats cancers of the female reproductive system and genitals), haematological oncologist (treats cancers of the blood and bone marrow), paediatric oncologist (treats cancers in children).
