After carrying out an internship at Westmead Hospital, Dr Chen was selected and fast tracked into accredited ophthalmic training at Sydney Eye Hospital. Upon completion of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology fellowship, Dr Chen furthered his speciality training as Advanced Fellow in Vitreoretinal surgery.
