I wish I could give a Zero. Worst Psychiatrist you will ever encounter. Prescribes drugs that have been proven on test trials by over 100’s of individuals not to work (found this out through another psych later on), as well as providing you with multiple prescriptions drugs that lead to you being sent to Emergency multiple times a week due to passing out and multiple other side effects.
Once she admits you into the clinic she stops treating you at all you have random 10 minute visits where she plays around with your meds that constantly make you feel worse and turn you into a Zombie.
When being admitted into the clinic she promises that she will not allow you to be discharged if you are not safe and things are not yet right. She received calls from GP of 13 years and psychologist of almost 3 years when it was coming close to the end of my first program their because she as ignoring me. They requested that she put me into the second part of the course immediately. Because I called my other doctors rather than solely dealing with her she became nasty, obnoxious, and unreasonable. It was confirmed my multiple staff at The Melbourne Clinic and my own doctors that she couldn’t deal with the fact that I had some common sense and decided our trust had been broken because I confided in my long term doctors because she was not listening nor providing me with sessions and only paying attention when it came to drugs, in fact you cant even say that because she would increase dosages more than trying to find the correct medication that at least had a statistic of working. So now that I has supposedly broken our trust she acted much a like a she was having a teenage tantrum and said that she could no longer treat me and that I would be discharged instantly.
She discharged me from the hospital earlier than had been expected and paid for put an order on me and called the police. I didn’t not argue nor get aggressive I merely pointed out that I have paid for this treatment waited months to get it and I have not improved I kept getting sent to emergency in an ambulance because my meds were not yet right (she also set this up in a way that I felt sick so I had to pay for the ambulance bills rather than the clinic) and she assured me that I could be moved into the second part of the treatment if I did not fee safe and had nowhere safe to go. While I was complying and packing my bags to leave my knee popped out of place so I was only able to walk on leg as I also have a meniscal tear. I was almost finished packing, was not arguing with anyone in fact she was not even in the room but then she returned with police who grabbed me I started screaming as I was scared and in pain from my leg. They police did not listen they fired me onto a bed and smashed my knee and pulled my leg repeatedly while she watched emotionlessly. One of the reasons I struggle is because of constant physical abuse. Also scaring other people on the floor also suffering from mental health issues.
I requested to finish packing my own things thy denied and I was robbed multiple items and they refused to provide me with my phone until I was in the ambulance.
She then made false statements so that you can no longer receive any treatment. Referrals have been going out for almost 12 months and all the manager of the clinic and Imogen do is protect each other, (the nurses and doctors in the courses I took where amazing, which is why I want to return without her as my psych and obviously the manager of the clinic has nothing with anything until it comes to hiding abuse and neglect of mentally ill people seeking help) and then stop them from being able to receive help. I don’t know how this doctor Is still able to practice but as i’m struggling with this experience, constantly being reminded of it as I am unable to get treatment anywhere and constantly being refused help. When the new referrals go out they always response saying that they will not accept me due to what happened the first time. I was perfectly well behaved, I threw birthdays for patience who never had one, I was kind to everyone and I even have on record the Manager of Melbourne clinic her confirming that ALL the nurses said that their was not one issue with me. I will now be requesting the police camera footage and making formal complaints everywhere. This Dr SHOULD NOT be pretending to help people any longer. Nor should The Melbourne Clinic be able to get away with this treatment.
