• 25.08.2023Dr Ian Mitchell is a wonderful GP. He has been my family’s Doctor for more than 18 years and I have never found a Doctor that has excellent knowledge, bedside manner, cares of your well being, friendly, empathetic, understanding & is hands on which he always makes you feel relaxed & comfortable, especially in other areas of practice then just consultations. I have never found a Doctor who is like Dr Mitchell which is why I have followed him from practice to practice over the 15 years. Dr Mitchell always has shown myself & family with utmost respect, his honesty, caring & professional approach in his field. I lived on the Gold Coast for 15 years and had to move back to Brisbane & I did try a Doctor at Wellington Point in which I had to be assigned too from the Redlands Hospital. They needed me to have a local GP to go too that could assist me with after hospital care. I was appalled at the service with this GP at the Medical clinic ‘Doctors@Wello. The GP ended up on the 2nd visit telling me I’m in the too hard basket & she didn’t want to see me again. I was in there for wound care & antibiotics but the GP & Nurse said they can’t do my wound care dressings as they just don’t know what they are doing! Then told me to pay for my consult on the way out which was a Bulk Billing practice only the week before. I immediately returned to see my Dr Mitchell & even though he is in Runaway Bay & I’m in Brisbane it is worth the travel & fuel expenses just to see him. He knows my family’s & my own medical history. Dr Ian Mitchell is the best Doctor that I have ever seen and I wouldn’t go anywhere else as he is above and beyond all Doctors that I have ever seen in my lifetime.
