• 04.11.2023I lost vision quite suddenly in my right eye in early August 2023.
I visited my local optometrist who diagnosed my problem as a full thickness macular hole and referred me to Prof I-Van Ho at Retina Associates clinic in Liverpool NSW.
The consultation with Prof Ho confirmed the diagnosis of a holed macular.
He booked me in for Vitrectomy at the Macquarie University Hospital at North Ryde in Sydney.
Although I was initially reluctant to travel from my home in Bundanoon in regional NSW, I’m now glad that I made the decision to go ahead with it.
The care given to me by Prof I-Van Ho was absolutely magnificent.
He is such a highly skilled and competent specialist retina surgeon who treats patients with kindness, respect and down to earth information on the procedure.
Follow-up post opp consultations went well with the same respectful informative procedure all the way.
It’s now one month on since my eye job and I’m so happy with the result.
Prof I-Van Ho has given me back my sight which is priceless.
