About Dr Heidi Peverill
Profile: Dr Heidi Peverill is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons with subspeciality training in Oncoplastic Breast Cancer and Melanoma Surgery. She performs cancer surgery to ensure the best oncologic treatment as well as ensuring the optimal aesthetic outcome. Heidi also performs melanoma surgery and other general surgery including gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery as well as emergency general surgery.As well as treating private patients, Heidi maintains public appointments at both the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Redlands Hospital, perfuming both Breast Cancer surgery as well as general surgery.Heidi enjoys teaching junior medical staff and medical students and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland as well as a Senior instructor on the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons "Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient" course.Outside of work, she spends time with her husband, young daughter and two dogs.
