Dr Gaurav Singh is a neurologist with a special interest in neuromuscular disorders and nerve conduction studies/EMG, having completed a Neuromuscular Fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He has a keen interest in research especially in neuromuscular conditions such as Motor Neuron Disease. He is also a staff specialist at the Gold Coast University Hospital. As well as this, Dr Singh is skilled in Botulinum toxin treatment of neurological conditions. Dr Singh is available to consult general neurology as well as neuromuscular patients.
A neurologist is a specialist who diagnoses and treats conditions of the brain, spinal cord and nerves such as neurological disorders (Parkinson's disease and motor neurone disease), degenerative disorders that affect thinking ability (Alzheimer's disease), brain or spinal injuries, infections of the nervous systems (meningitis or brain abscesses), headaches and migraines, seizures and epilepsy, strokes and aneurysms (bleeding in the brain).
