He gained his Primary fellowship in London and Final fellowship in Glasgow obtaining his FDSRCPS in Glasgow in 1982 and his specialist fellowship FFDRCSI in Dublin, Ireland in 1983.He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and was first registered as a Specialist OMFS in 1986.Doug has been based in Sydney since 1986 and has visiting rights at Tamara Private Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital, Mt Druitt Hospital, Blacktown Hospital, Westmead Hospital and Inverell Hospital.
