He graduated from the University College of Cork, before undertaking vocational training at St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin. He worked as a Senior Fellow at Flinders University in Adelaide, before taking up a position as a Consultant Pain Medicine Physician at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool.
